Q.01Do I need any hardware?

A device with a screen and a browser. iPad, Android tablet, phone, laptop — anything with Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. No chip reader, no terminal, no SumUp dongle.

Q.02What if the customer's Lightning payment fails?

The POS shows "failed, try again" and generates a fresh invoice. Lightning failures are usually routing-related and resolve on retry. No customer confusion, no re-entry of amount.

Q.03Is there a transaction fee beyond 0.4%?

No. Same flat 0.4% as the rest of the gateway. No per-transaction terminal fee, no monthly hardware rental.

Q.04Can I do refunds from the POS?

Yes — tap a past txn in the session history, tap "Refund". Uses the same refund endpoint as the dashboard. Customer's refund address is auto-detected from the original payment.
